17th Feb 12: Sunday's training session on the 19th of Feb... 09:30 start at queens valley reservoir consisting of run followed by transition work followed by 1 lap group ride. There will be a ride after the session if anyone wishes to join in however this is just a social ride.

17th Jan 12: Here are details for Sunday's session:
Meet at les Quennevais cycle track opposite play area by the gate at 13:15.
Session will include a warm up followed by a fartlek run. After the run session there will be a chance to go through and practice transition. Next if time allows there will be a bike drill. You will need a bike, helmet, run and bike shoes as well as fluids. Please dress for the weather conditions.
Dates of future sessions 19th February, 18th March, 15th April.

23rd Dec 11: Important 2014 Commonwealth Games information :-
Dear Triathletes,
For those of you who were unable to attend the AGM please find attached the qualifying criteria we are looking to set towards selection for Commonwealth Games 2014, which if you did not already know will be in Glasgow.
It is very important that I know all those who may be working towards qualification by 31.01.12 as we have to submit our budget for allocation of subsidies soon after that date. I also see the process of qualifications being at least two years unless you are already familiar with racing on the professional circuit.
I am happy to talk to anybody who may be in two minds about the process or by all means contact Gary Jones who guided Tim Rogers, Scott Pitcher and Paul Clements on our last occasion in Melbourne 2006.

20th Sep 11: This years Durrell Dash takes place on Sunday October 16th. This year there is no child events, however there is a 6k dash. Click here for entry form.
12th Sep 11: Twelve JTC members plus support crew travelled to Guernsey at the weekend to tackle the middle distance 'Graniteman' triathlon. In tough windy conditions there were plenty of war stories and while there were no Jersey athletes on the podium there were still some gutsy performances from all including a number racing the middle distance for the first time. 6th July 11: Ben Bright will be holding a training camp in Fuerteventura next March from the 3rd to the 10th, that's Saturday to Saturday. The cost is £900 which includes everything except flights. The maximum that the camp will be taking is 28 people, there will be more info coming out soon including a website. Watch this space.

03rd Feb 11: Club Kit - Champion Systems are sending us some sample kit, we expect to receive this by the 12th Feb. We will not have every item in every size but will have a selection of items in different sizes. All of their items are manufactured from the same size blocks. We have arranged the following times for you to come and see the samples and try some on.
Sunday 13th Feb from 2pm to 4pm at Big Maggy’s, changing facilities will be available.
This will be the main chance to fully try on the kit, Tony will be opening up especially for us so if you are interested in kit, please try and make it to Big Maggy’s between 2pm and 4pm.
Thursday 17th Feb from 12:30 to 2pm at Spoor & Fisher, 11 Castle St.
Spoor & Fisher have kindly allowed the use of one of their meeting rooms, its located on the ground floor, first door on the right after entering the building. You will be able to try on items over your clothing, but there will be no changing facilities.
The final cut off for orders is at the Queens Valley Duathlon on the 20th Feb. Please do not count on being able to try kit then. Orders will be sent to Champion Systems on Monday 21st and delivery will be in approximately 8 weeks.
31st Jan 11: The first duathlon of the 2011 season attracted 47 athletes, a great number for so early in the season. Results are now in on the results page.
